Default Leveling Kit Recommendation for '03 F-150 SuperCrew 2WD

My dad just got himself into a 2003 F150 SuperCrew 2WD. He has been wanting to get into a truck for a while now and is really excited about it. He wants to level it out by lowering the rear rather than lifting the front. Let me start out by saying that I pretty much know nothing about this topic.

I was wondering if I could a leveling kit recommendation. I have come across the Ground Force leveling kit. Are these kits any good? Is there a better brand out there? When I say better I am talking about the quality of the parts and/or the ease of the install as I would like for me and a few buddies to install it for him rather than having him pay a shop labor. My buddies and I put some Koni shocks on my '99 Z28 about a year ago or so ago so we should have the tools and the know how to get the job done. If you feel that there is a better one out there, please let me know what your reasoning is.

If he does take it to a shop, what do you think a fair labor charge would be for installation?

Also, is there anything else that you would recommend getting done while I am in there? As mentioned before, I am not familiar with these trucks. The F-150 forum did not have a lot of information on the topic. I searched there and PT.net before posting. I know yo guys will have some opinions to chime in with.

thanks in advance

Ground force is pretty good stuff, its nice for the money. You should be able to knock it out with some help in a couple of hours with hand tools. The hardest part will be installing the lowering shackles which requires unbolting the leaf springs. If you wanna go cheap, you could just buy the shackles themselves, but being the truck is an 03 I'd go ahead and get the kit since it probably comes with shocks....

Just curious, why is he wanting to lower the rear rather than lift the front?
