**** I may not be able to get past the 60 foot if it's anything like last time. I took the day off today to put my axle back in. Just gotta get over being lazy. If I get it done I'll go to the track tomorrow to check everything over.

He ran a best of 10.1x at 13x spinning some off the line... I think he finally decided to go with slicks after all..

Yeah I used his tires. I was actually feeling better that my car back down to where it should be. I was worried after I tried swapping the converters again. 10.17@131.97 was my best yesterday. I looked up the DA and found that it was 404. So not too bad considering my 10.02 was -565 DA. I have to figure out my tire situation. Seems like the drag radials are at their limit in the cold weather. I think new drag radials would probably be ok. But as much as I'm afraid slicks will slow me down I'll probably try them at this point. If I can stop all spin and shave some weight from the tires I may see some results. I need a 1.34 or better 60 to see a 9.

I'll get new spark plugs and tune the car for having the intake filter off. And probably get slicks and go back on the 5th. Just have to hope for some awesome DA and sticky traction.

 

I was there with my lil Vette. Joshua (RMS-MAN on LS1) was putting the finishing touches on my newly installed built A6 from Century Trans and 3200 Yank converter. He drove/ tuned in like 10 passes. 1st pass was the slowest 10.13, then it went 9.98, 9.95, 9.93, 9.80, and a best of 9.75 at 139 mph. The right lane was hooking much better than the left.

...makes for a nasty lil street car.

 

Were you on a radial or slick?

 

I have a stock front wheel that I had widened by Weldcraft (now 11x18). I run a MT ET Street II in 305/35/18 full time. We had the tires at 22 psi on best results.
I almost forgot about the Pfadt adjustable shocks..we made tweaks on those too.

 

So what times did you get?

 

best run was 11.08@121.50 w/1.51 60'
