So apparently my stall is complete ****. Truck is at Phoenix Trans out in Weatherford and just got a call earlier today saying that the TCC is worn to metal. The rest of the internals are crap too so Im getting hooked up with one of their converters. Can't wait to get it back and feel the full potential.
No one wants to pay shop price. That's how I started working on cars. I couldn't afford to fix my Dirty 30 so started reading on LS1tech.

you welds look better than usual for your experience. What do you have your gas set at? some of those pictures look like you could use some more gas or you are holding the nozzle to far away. work on keeping your pattern more consistent and they will start to look better.
good start.

Need a rear pic when done man, i love my TB and wish it had more than a 5.3, but it is a grocery getter and i couldnt be happier with the fuel economy it gets, if the aluminum 5.3 takes a ****, i will put a LS1 in it if i dont just bore the 5.3 to 5.7, port the heads and LS6 cam.
