I couldn't get ahold of Royal Purpal on the phone, and I wasn't about to drive 120 miles round trip if they were closed. Had half a beer, and was like, Fthis, I'm not drinking, I'm going racing!LS7 clutch sucks *****. Can't do a burnout and can't launch the car, it just sticks to the floor if I did one, and spins if I don't do a burnout, so no 10's for me tonight. I'll be back out in 2 weeks with more power and a new clutch. Gotta catch back up to Mark(shelby08)

Jim(Old Goat) getting it done in the heavy GXP. Nice ride, and nice talking to you the last few weeks, Jim. Sorry for the poor video quality, click on the video and enhance it to 720hd and it will clear it up a little.

After you left, I made on final pass against that guy in the yellow C6 Z06 and did a PB of 12.091 @ 112.59. The ole grocery getter was moving real well tonight. Not bad for a 4400 pound car with just bolt ons. If you look at the timeslip, you will notice I cut a .034 light on the Z06, and I had him out of the gate. I'm not sure who got the win light, but he turned an 11.7X. He caught me toward the end and had me by a bumper, but don't know if he got me passed the finish line or not. Either way, it was one heck of a race. I'm proud of the fact I hung in there with a C6 Z06, whether he was bone stock or not.
The average DA for the night was around -800. It was a great night to race, and between around 1130 and closing time you could practically drive up right to the staging area, mostly one or two cars in line. It really doesn't get any better than tonight...........once we got started. I will post on their facebook page my unhappiness about getting started.

Awesome!!! Damn, I wish my clutch was up to the task tonight! Great job, man! At least I put a KB terminator to sleep 6-7 times on the way home. We pulled over, and he is a member of SVTforums. A clutch that can do highway pulls one after the other, and not a single big burnout and launch.

The track was awesome as far as cars. I was telling my buddy on the phone tonight that we were running singles at the end. Crazy
