Drag Radials
That sucks, but they will hook and not cause more expensive problems, so yeah like you said lesson learned. I learned it when I bought some used ZR1's with old 555r's, but they were cheap so it wasn't a big deal, gave me an excuse to abuse a set of tires without feeling bad.
Well, i just got some BFG radials used, the tread was kind of hard, i drove it, did a burn out and they are soft again and hook OK for the most part, i have not installed a tire yet that is not a ET street or slick that actually hooks yet but they do better than radials.
