No on the auto, I'm a 6 speed all the way. If I was an auto I would be in the low 10's. I'm still trying to figure out how to launch my car. Best 60' I've had was a 1.8. Wife gave me the 1 night pass. I don't think she is going to let me go 2 days in a row but we'll see.

Where did EG mount your meth nozzle?

Up under the driver fender. I'm in the same boat with the fiancee. I figured if I get out to Sealy by 11am, cool the car, make 4-5 passes, I can be home by 3PM and not have to sleep on the couch. Seems like there is about 3-4 of us in this thread in the same position.

Anyways, look forward to meeting you and checking out your car.

Mark

Wow, thanks for that! I would have set fire to the place if I drove my *** out there and it was closed.

Thats Fuked. They are not racing until noon and its supposed to be 60 degrees out there tomorrow afternoon.

How is it they are closed and Baytown isn't? I thought there was some BS NHRA rule about not running below 45 degrees?

So.....who wants to go to Mexico tomorrow?

Sealy closes when the ground is wet. They may have gotten too much rain yesterday.

Had a good time. First time with a clutch and tires. Got the boot on the first full pass(first one, left traction control on after I stalled the car). Probably could have gone 10.40's. Can't wait to see what it will do with a baby cam and exhuast.

Good job Mark! MPH came up nicely. I think leaving a little harder would get you 10.4's for sure.

I'm still pissed I had to work tonight (still working now) and you guys got to run in 38 degree weather and Sealy will be closed tomorrow (well later today) because of "cold weather".

PS: Traction Control after stalling....priceless.

Good to meet you too, James. Sorry I didn't take more time to talk to you about your ride. Your car is

Wide Body, slammed, CCW's, hood, etc. I looked over it when I came back to the pits. Amazing!

Bill, John probably wouldn't have put down any prep on the track anyways. Sucks you had to work.

Yeah, I'm a noob in this car, I keep my windows down when I pull up an did through the burnout so they don't fog up. The crowd was laughing so hard when I did stall the car. I was like, LOL!!!!

BTW, I need headers/mid pipe/cutouts or something! My car is so quiet. I make one pass, and it's a 10, and you can't even here my car.

If you decide you want cutouts I have a new set of DMH low profile cutouts that I have decided not to use.

Thanks, James! I wouldn't know where to put them with my stock exhuast though. I mounted them after the X pipe on my Z06 with LT's. What do you think about the LS7 manifold/cat upgrade for me? Think I could get 10-15hp out of it at my power level?

I'm no expert but I think your biggest gain would be to get rid of the cats. I know you just replaced them but you will probably melt them again. I don't want to take mine off but when I replace my motor next month I am probably going to remove the cats at the same time. As far as the LS7 manifolds I haven't done enough research on them to say if you would benefit from them or not.

Winters I have tons of Z06 parts laying around. We tested those on a bolt on C6 and it gained 15 RWHP.
