Default Johnson Space Center

This is what it looked like before the ground breaking

This picture was taken in 1963. The big building in the center with the big *** garage door is where I currently work.

Here is agood aerial view from the northwest corner in 1963.

Picture of the NBL (Nuetral Bouyance Lab) Astronaut training facility. This was taken in 05. Big *** swimming pool. It is something like 100'x120'x40'. Holds something like 6 million gallons of water. I woked in theis building a few years back for a couple of months.

My grandpa worked out there as a plumber during the initial construction and my dad went out there with him on occasion back when he would have been 9-10 yrs old.

My dad worked here from 1964 to 2008. Mom worked here from the 72 to 05. I have been out here since 92 and both my brothers work for Oceaneering for the last 11-15 years.

We have a lot of old JSC/NASA pictures up around our hallway. JSC is literally right across the street from my work.
