Default Anyone know where to buy an automatic start alarm system for fbody?

Both of my keypads are broken and instead of just buying a new one I have decided that I want to get one that has the automatic start option. I've known a couple people in the past that have had it on their 6-speed fbody's even though some say it can't be done. I went by Ron Carter today after class and they quoted me over $500 for one installed.- I know that's a typical dealership price and have heard you can get them for half that. Anyone know where to find one for cheaper than that? If so, please either pm me or post the phone # or website here. I posted this in the stereo and electronics section as well.

Thanks in advance,
Kody-

The $500 is about what a good one will cost you with a 2way pager. Buddy of mine at car toys said they can do one for about $250 but it's a starter only.

Just had one installed on my 2011 Silverado Viper w/2 way pager/tilt sensor cost me almost $600 and the truck already had remote start. The quality of the install was worth the price. I used a company called TRS (theft replacement specialist)281-631-0404. Our dealership uses them for quite a few services. They sautered sp? and heat shrank all connections. I was a victim of the "FACTORY 2O'S STOLEN IM MY DRIVEWAY". This time they will have a suprise when they come to try to take my ****.

I ended up going with the Clifford alarm system-had it installed today. I like it so far but the only thing I'm concerned about is it doesn't start up every time I go to remote start it. The installer told me it's because of the cold weather sometimes they tend to do that. Other than that, it's just what I wanted for half the price the dealership quoted me.
