Get it right Robert, it is a true Replica that I had built. And cmon, the only motor that belongs in a ZL1 is a 427, not a 6.2. If they want that, they need to keep it in a Z/28 and keep the ZL1 exclusive. But ****, you know I will probably have 1 when it comes out. ****** cars, they never end. I only have so many garage spaces.

Wouldnt matter, it would just have a Z06 engine if it was a 427, the real 69 ZL1 had a specific engine that only had 2 make it into the corvette, which they dont even know where they are i believe.

If I remember right the ZL1 was basic as it could get to save in weight......

I hope they do the same cause we all know the camaro needs to lose some weight but I doubt it........

Question 6500rpm cluth dumps??

Drivetrain – It is revised with a stronger driveshaft and rear axle system, featuring a larger and stronger cast iron differential housing, stronger axles and heavy-duty limited-slip differential. This patent-pending system is designed to ensure that ZL1’s tremendous power is delivered smoothly to the ground.

This by far these are the most interesting features I have read. I wonder if this new rear end "cast iron" can handle 6500 rpm clutch dumps with slicks at a track and live in stock form?

Same could be said for the GT500.

I'm digging the front which finaly got a splitter, that and everything is functional. I'm guessing this is going to **** off alot of vette owners.

It will most likely eat it up and spit it out.

Not comparing a 500 here. There were plenty of them back in the day, but there was only 69 ZL-1s

Ya I like it but I was hoping for a z/28. I think it will make the jump to C6 easier. I planned on getting new Camaro but the new vettes I have wanted forever. I like the hood a lot tho

**** if that's the real price I will be getting one early 2012... But I HIGHLY doubt that's the price. There's just no way. Hell, the motor costs half that.
