All of my LS friends like to give me a hard time about the "crappy LT1 2 bolt main caps." I agree, LS 6 bolt caps are far superior. And if I ever build a high hp LT1, the 2 bolt mains will be the first thing to go, replaced by splayed 4 bolt mains.

Since I have a spare set of 2 bolt caps, I figured out something that they are really good for, cleaning up room on my desk.

yeah thats pretty cool. I had a bench grinder stand made from a spare wheel with a crankshaft welded to the center but i got sick of lugging that heavy bitch around the shop so I made a lighter one.
