Stupid question, but does the dinger go off when you open the doors with the key in the ignition? And also, what light are you checking for voltage? And also try this. Apply 12v to the orange wire with the key on and see what happens. Don't hold it there, just touch it there real quick. It might blow a fuse.

Run a wire from the battery of the car and apply to the orange wire. See if the lights flicker.

That's fine.

Where are these orance wires? Give an exact location to where they go and I'll look on my schematics and see exactly what they are.

2 orange wires coming out of the headlight switch, both go into the wiring harness and i couldnt track them due to it getting dark outside. They are side by side ill take a pic of them

I will check the white wire coming out of the dimmer switch, here is a pic of the tool.

ok and i got the black into the "com" and the red into the far right port. Thats right isnt it?

heres a pic of the wires coming out of the headlight switch.

The "white" one is kinda yellow but its the closest to white that i can see, next to the only black wire.

not sure i understand what you mean 5w20

Also i went out with the setting you told me to put it on and got no reading on the white wire with the dimmer switch turned all the way up, or with the headlights or parklights on.

Look at the black connector in the pic, notice it has letters. Look for an "o" and there should be an orange wire if thats the headlamp connector. That wire should have voltage at all times, key on/off.

For the meter, black probe on the "com" and the red probe to the right of that one. Set the meter to 20 on the bottom right.

According to your picture, you measuring AC voltage. Move it to the V with the dashes under it. That is DC.

Have you checked your fusable links? Usually by the battery.
