Power Steering Pump
Power Steering Pump Has anyone replaced their power steering pump ? And is it hard , can you use hand tools , or should I just take it in to an auto-repair shop and let them do it ?

just remove the upper water pump hose out of the way. use the removal tool, then undo bothe pressure and return lines, after that depending on the year should be 2 or 3 13mm bolts that hold the pump.
if your new pump came with a resivor its easier but if not you have to tap out the locking tangs on it and transfer the resiovur to the new pump
install pump and lines, and then use tool to reinstall pulley reattach coolant hose and done,
should take no more that 30 min

For $100 you send them a pump and you get a pump back in just a couple days that has been rebuilt and modified so that you never have a heat and flow related failure again.
If you've ever heard of a Turn One pump, this is better in that it's about 1/3 the price.
