The Blue car makes 1000-1100 on race gas according to the UGR employees I talked to on Friday night. It is NOT the same package as SW/Tim/Peter/Eric/etc. car. SW was out on close to 1300rwhp but I don't think he came across the LMR car. I know he came across a few others though. I think Tim went out in his and I think he was on ~1400rwhp setting (They have 4 presets for power already set in the Motec packages).
Steven is a driving SOB for sure and it shows there for sure. He jumped out and it looks like the Lambo pulls back until he shifted then Steven just pulled away!

I'd still take a puked on dash. Gotta a feeling there are a couple of guys/gals, that could probably puke on a dash tonight, and turn it whatever color you want depending on what they drank at the Omni.

Man, I had a blast. Those TT lambos are fast as ****, I just happen to come out on top that night. The blue lambo does have the UGR type R package. It was one of the originals, at least thats what the owner of the car told me. Also, the blue lambo made 1300rwhp, also out of the owners mouth. Traction and shifting play a big part in races like these when both cars have over 1000rwhp. I know on one of the runs he tried turning the boost up even more but had problems with the TB closing. All in all the owner of the car was cool as **** and we had a blast racing all night. Look forward to seeing everyone at the mile next weekend.

It was just weird to see such a badass car with such a weird color of leather on the dash. The interior of that thing is probably worth more than my car...

I thought RSI built this Viper.
What did LMR change up (other than the tune) to claim this as their build?
Hell, this car still has stock head bolts and no billet mains from the RSI build.

I know Steven and Josh aren't the type of guys to drag another shops name through the mud by blasting them on changes that had to be done.
We've been over this before on here...

That car has been at LMR enough for them to have their name on it. Clearly if the car was perfect it wouldn't be at LMR.

Did they design/install the turbo kit? No
Did they install the AEM? No
Did they install the water/meth injection? No
What did they do other than tune it and perform maintenence?

Steven doesn't take credit for the RSI turbo kit, people have asked in person (not keyboard warriors) and he always gives credit to all parties involved. RSI and LMR actually get along well. The current owner of the Viper just prefers LMR, and they now do the work on the car. The owner has made it an LMR project car, which is ongoing. If his wallet is doing the talking, then I suppose he can call it whatever shop project car that he wants to. Besides, it isn't some genius fab skill required to hang a pair of turbos onto stock exhaust manifolds, especially on a side-exhaust Viper. The "built" engine is just pistons and rods, and as you said it still has stock head bolts on it. Overall, the car is very simple.
Don't worry, LMR will be building a twin-turbo Viper soon.
