Congrats on the runs LMR. Cars where rolling out hard! It was nice to meet all of yall at the event. I keep reading this thread and people are constanly asking about RCC's and the issues it had. I can say this for the record, I personally talked to Josh and he told myself and my friends all the issues they had with RC's car. Thats because we didnt even ask about the crank or anything like that. So just because it wasnt posted on the internet doesnt mean they are trying to hide anything. They where out there racing and getting it done. And they where smart and put safety first vs trying to do what the masses wanted.

Congrats on the record!

What's with the secrecy? If the car blew up, then say it did. Who cares...

Black ss on 20's goes 239 in a standing mile. that just gave me the inspiration to keep the size just get lighter ones made. Everyone here always gives **** for 20's on a track car but I love how big, open wheels look. But awesome car guys, awesome

Wow what thread have you been reading? This thread I was the only one to ask about the crank and it was in response to wormboys post. I asked because it was said in another thread and not mentioned here. **** wormboy overlooked my post and didnt even respond. No big deal to me, I am not trying to stir up ****. I was asking because I think the guys are doing badass builds with great results. Why does it matter about asking about the motor issues?

No no. I was complimenting the Camaro (it's a monster) and wondering if anybody knew why the Corvette flipped. What a shame, that was an amazing car as well.

First pass Friday morning I ran it on wastegate only just to check everything out and to get used to making a pass at the mile with the parachute. Clicked off a record setting 222mph pass. I was amazed at how quick she ran on just wastegate.

Well, after the camaro blew a tire I decided to put a set of hoosiers on the car for safe measure. Next pass we turned the boost up and she was on a lick but I ran out of RPM in 4th gear with the shorter tire and knew if I put it in 5th she would break the stock TR6060 trans, still went 211mph on that pass. After that I decided not to run her anymore, I didnt want to take a chance putting the MT drag radials back on her to try and better Hinsons 224mph corvette record. I decided to just wait until the next event.
Why do you build a car going after the record for the standing mile then cheap out on the transmission?

What kind of suspension is under this car?

Even if we bought the best gear for fifth and sixth it wouls still break. The gear is just physicaly too small to handle the amount of load at those speeds. I have the car set up to go through in fourth gear. It has coil overs on all four corners with pfadt sway bars.

LOL nope. not that you can street drive on a regular basis and not have to cut the car up to fit.

Top end power control on street tires is tough to do with that much power. Congrats on great setup and very skilled driving. You guys earn major props and respect for bringing the LSX platform on par with the fastest imports.
