Anyone ever ran an F1-A on an AES boost motor?

390 has a forged crank, not a cast
Not at all. You have to spin the D1 pretty hard to hit 800, especially if he's rocking an auto (not sure what he has) and at those boost levels its not only inefficient, but dangerous for the blower. An F-1A seems perfect for 800 IMO. The only D1 I know of aside from KPs that made 800+ was on Trusts 396 and that thing had about this much more -> || room to grow.
While I've never bought a motor from HKE I have heard amazing things about them and any LSx idiot should know they are a VERY reputable company, but that does not mean AES is exactly a novice shop themselves. I've talked to Fraser before and seen a lot of his posts around here and that guy's no joke, and from what people say he can build one hell of an engine
And for anyone who says the reason for his awesome prices is because of the parts he's using, it's actually because he buys them in massive bulk quantities to reduce the cost
Btw OP, if you were going to go with AES, their 408 would be a better option for your F-1A than that 390. The 390 will work but even Fraser himself has said its more suited towards a D1SC blower, and their 308 boost engine is best for the F series

Really impressed with this combo, HKE 347, Patriot 317 heads, stock LS6 intake and 75mm TB, tiny 1 3/4 headers and 2.5" mid pipes, alky meth kit, Cartek FD, D1SC 3.55 pulley, 2 bar SD tuned and a CCP cam

^That's some good power with a D1sc.
Reason I decided to go with an F1a was so I can make that kind of power without working the blower so hard and and so if I DO decide to go bigger C.I. in the future I'll have more room to gain HP.

Yeah I had always thoughts Trusts's car's downfall was way too many cubes for that D1SC, but hey wtf do I know I'm definitely surprised by that guys numbers, would not have expected that. I wish he'd say what boost level its at (a 3.55 pulley though!) and if it was auto or a manual. I'm not quite as impressed if its a stick, but its still pretty amazing nonetheless!
This intrigued me
Wtf is up with that, that honestly looks terrible @ 19 PSI for an F-1C, stalled auto or not.

I'm currently 775rwhp @19psi (347/F1C) through an stalled/geared A4.
