Default Wheels for a truck

I need new tires for my Seirra, the factory 20s were missing when I got the truck and I got some junky 17s. Looking for a set of wheels, preferably some thing that doesn't suggest I make revenue off the sale and or distribution of narcotics or live in a trailer. I'm looking for a decent truck wheel, not interested in polished finishes and some thing generally low care would be nice. Any suggestions? I was thinking 20 like stock max, maybe some 18s with all terrain tires. A one piece cast wheel is fine, no HREs needed

I like these a lot

I might be considering selling my 20's off my truck....They are 20" KMC Surge....only pic I have of them right now....Only had them since October, Falken 285/55/20 at all fours
haven't decided 100% yet though...but will know make up my mind in a day or two...just depends on some other things..

Some VHO wheels for sale on pt.net for $750. Not really my thing though.

Aftermarket, I like Boss wheels.

Check rgvtruckperformance.net. Always some wheels for sale on there.

Any of these budget wheels are going to be **** quality compared to the stockers you have. Gonna have to pony up and go forged!

you dont have to lift your truck, you can get those in 20's and then put some 275 55 20" cooper ltz tires on and it would look good, and if you just level out your front end then you could fit a 275 60 20 cooper on there. those are a mild all terrain tire and look good. just an idea

Bad idea unless you have money out your ***. Not gonna lie, I love my forged 18's but that $4,000 could have bought a whole other car..

haha not tryin to start **** but just caused they are forged dont mean they wont have any blemishes or anything go wrong with them. i have seen plenty of three peice wheels come in at my work with seal leaking or bolts loose, and forged wheels that are pitting or cracking. as long as you stay away from a chrome wheel you'll be fine finish wise.

I had some AFS? ZR1 wheels on my Trans Am back in 02, they were great wheels for a cast one piece wheel wheel. I liked them more than my Fikses because they were so easy to take care of, sure they didn't look us good but they were super easy to take care of, nice wheels. So long as you stick to a better brands like KMC who makes those XDs and stay away from the store brand cheapies, I don't see the point of going all out on a forged wheel on my daily driver.

02CamaroSSLE,

All terrain is going to have a bit more road noise won't it? I drive a lot on the highway and that may get some what annoying.

Well the cooper ltz are quiet from what people have told me, i put them on my gf uncles toyata tundra and he said that they are not loud at all... But they do make highway tires in a 20 but if you were to get an xd wheel it would look goofy with street tires, imo... Good luck with your purchase and post pics. If you have any more question feel free to ask and ill answer if i know it.

That is true. I'd just stay away from all the budget cast wheels.
