I would deff just use tape on my vette if I had one.... Camaro is screwed through the front bumper plastic grill insert... Law is the law and I was tired of getting pulled over

Let's hope he used like a doublesided 3m or something instead of screwing into the bumper :-x

I looked on the back of the mount and I am sure I saw screws.

**** i hate that ****, especially on cars like the vette and others that look horrible with one on. I would just put the plate on the windshield, and call it a day usually local cops dont mess with them, its either State troopers or maybe sheriff's county will pick on u.

worth paying the 25$ ticket once a freakin' week as long as i didnt have to look at that constantly. i never ran one on my c5 and never once got pulled over for it. i got pulled over for speeding once and guy never even walked to the front. totally ruins the look of the front end imho.

somebody needs to really make a good custom bracket for those cars to keep it looking clean and not damage the bumper

There really isn't a good place on the C6 for a front plate. The stock location looks like a clown nose. Just about every aftermarket bracket either blocks a large chunk of the grille, or looks goofy in some other way.

The only two I've seen that I would consider running are the retractable ones and the one that uses double-sided tape and a couple wing nuts for quick removal.
