You don't need a chl, this is Texas like said before! Your protecting your property at your home, put a hole in those thieving ************* and make sure there is only one story, YOURS! Real story, my dads truck kept getting broke in to cause they wanted his emglo compressor. I waited up one night and sure enough here they come, two essays in white t shirts. I came flying out of the house dumping on those ******* with my .45! Put atleast 6 holes in the back of their truck which was parked up the street. The other round were intended for them. The cops only said I shouldn't be firing in the neighborhood but couldn't do anything cause I was "protecting our property". Saw that the chains had been cut in the back of the truck and left. Plain and simple, kill them!

but also remember make sure they don't move after you shoot em. Yeah you may be protecting your property, but if they live, they will sue the crap out of you and civil suit you and then you will be tied up wasting money on lawyers and everything else. If your gonna draw on someone, make sure you put 2 center mass or one in the head. You don't want them living. Sad to say, but it's true. Otherwise you might as well just let them steal your stuff. If they are stealing stuff, they know how to work the system and you will be stuck in a court room hell wasting much more money on lawyers then the mirrors/car would have cost.

Killing them is not a problem the problem is my wife heard everything go down and didn't wake me up. Anyways insurance is covering everything and we should have few hundred bucks left over.

Myth. There are no laws that have anything in this regard. CHL course should clear up any of these fairytales.

A plain clothes police detective responding to the 9-1-1 call had arrived at the scene before the shooting and witnessed the escalation and shootings, while remaining in his car.[3] His report on the incident indicated that the men who were killed "received gunfire from the rear".[1] Police Capt. A.H. Corbett stated the two men ignored Mr. Horn's order to freeze and one of the suspects ran towards Joe Horn before he angled away from him toward the street when he was shot in the back. Note: The medical examiner's report did not specify they were shot in the back.[7] Pasadena police confirmed that the two men were shot after they ventured into his front yard. The detective did not arrest Horn.
