DFW Fun spots??
well I'll be starting my new job in Dallas on the 2nd, and was wondering where the fun spots were, like good friendly bar with good peoples.... I'm only 26 but I don't enjoy the "club" scene but more of the older crowd that you'll find at just a good sports bar or something of that sort...I'll be living in Coppell, and prefer not to get lost just yet.lol...

The frisco area has some nice bars. The guys a work with go out after work for a beer at a place called the frisco bar. Also Austin Ranch has a couple bars that are pretty popular for people around your age in the area. Where in coppell are you staying?

I stay in Coppell as well. I know you didnt ask for a car meet but if you ever wanted to go, there is one every Wednesday that is pretty close to you off of MacArthur and Roundgrove.. Nothing huge but a good meet..

since you live in coppell, i'd say that belt line rd in Addison is a good place for tons of restaurants and bars. do a search for Twin Peaks (they also have a location in lewisville)
if thats too far of a drive, check out the main st and william d tate area in grapevine, which also has tons of restauraunts and bars.
if you dont mind driving further, check out the uptown area of dallas (mckinney ave), there are lots of bars/restauruants with porches where you can sit an watch the exotics drive by. Frankies is a good sports bar we go to after work sometimes. also greenville ave has some great places as well, but not as high end of a crowd. some nice places on henderson ave, but they tend to be a little expensive.
