I saw an article apparently the mavs are on the cover of SI, I don't like it when these analyst start picking someone to win it all ESP after the 2006 season. I just wonder how good would the grizzlies be if they had Rudy Gay or how much better and deeper would the mavs be with Caron butler. I think the mavs would be better off playing okc than Memphis. Zack R and Mark Gasol would be a handful and it looks like westbrook is having a major ballhog issue.

The grizzlies..lol..they are giving the Thunder all they can handle. I mean 3 OT when mayo and conley are fouled out?

I think grizzlies or thunder will match up well against Dallas. Both teams have quick players to close out on the 3 pt shooting something the lakers didnt do.

I don't know game wise it's not a lot but money wise it is. He's going to lose out on $700,000.00 I think the league tried to make an example out of him. I believe he's making 11 million next year so it's not that bad. But for players who usually make about 3-5 million a year, $700,000 will hurt.

Well the big part of the money is from missing the games, so a player that doesn't get paid 11 million a year wouldn't have to pay 700k lol They don't get paid as much per game. I think thats how it goes anyways.

Oh yea very true. I think Kenny Smith said something yesterday that made sense. He basically said if you do a stupid foul like Bynum's and the guy gets hurt where he misses games, then the player should miss the exact amount of games w/o pay. If he doesn't get hurt then you just get a mild suspension and fine. That will make players think twice.

The sooner the better IMO, rest is good but they need to stay fresh. If grizzlies force game 7 then game 1 will be tuesday (sunday if okc wins Friday night)

Been so long of a wait but man was it redirkulous.

I think rose and dirk are playing the best ball of what's left in the playoffs. Miami is in trouble, that bulls team plays like its 6 on 5. Interesting to see what happens tonight.

I think Thunder will still prevail in the end. I mean both Dirk and Durant had excellent games last night, but the thing that was interesting was Thunder were still able to keep the game close till then end of the 4th. I mean Dallas played as good if not better than when they played the Lakers and still was a close game. Thunder on the other hand had a great game but nothing over the top. Russell struggled and was not his usual game. While JJ Barea had a specatcular game. So if this was Dallas' best shot then I think the Thunder should be feeling real good that the game was still winnable.

Durant's last 4 games he's had 19, 11, 35, and 40 pts. He could be lights-out like last night, or he could come out flat and get frustrated as the game goes on.

Nobody can guard Dirk, but the best defender will be matched up against Durant for Game 2.

Chicago and Dallas are on best mode, if both of them make it, to the Finals its going to be worth Watching.

Dirk was a beast last night. I got mavs in 5 but they're capable of a sweep for sure!
I don't like that durant gets to the line without even being touched!

Durant doesn't need to score a whole bunch just him being on the floor spreads the opponents defense. I would say he's played good except the 11pt game he had. I agree no one can guard dirk but I think the key to thunder winning the series is Westbrook. If he ca. Quit throwing jumpers he usually misses and gets more assists then shots made thunder will succeed.

Not happening, we have better shooters, a veteran point guard who has a lower turnover rate, better bigs, and the best player in the series. KD is an allstar but he isn't in his prime like dirk. Westbrook has to play his best ball for okc to win and I guarantee the mavericks wont lose more than two games. The mavericks Defense will play better and Peja will too.

It's called Joey Crawford before the Portland series the Mavs where 2-17 with him officiating.

Durant can go off all he wants.
