GTO guys, tell me isn't true.

A G8 owner (unannounced as such) strolled over to an area with some GTOs. In conversation with a GTO owner, he asked why they didn't park with the G8's. The answer was that they (G8s) don't have enough horsepower. Ouch! I didn't hear this in person, so I'm not sure of the level of seriousness or jest of the comment by this individual. That's no bueno if there was any level of seriousness though. Can't we all just be family?

I'll make sure to get my engine bay cleaned before next meet. I was embarrassed when I opened mine and saw the dirt sitting in there...

Ya'lls cars looked good- I really like the LT-1 hardtop- very clean. I got there about 8 and was lucky to get a spot even though it wasn't where anyone was gonna see it

I'd go but my white vette has a messed up wheel and my GTO is still in the shop getting the bark removed. I ended up showing up in my old BMW..

I was out there in my XLR-V but got there around 7:55 and had to park in the starbucks lot next to a blue Ferrari and a few bikes.

Good turnout and some nice cars.

Some people need to understand that just because they own a car doesn't mean it should be in a carshow though, lol. There were a few junkers there.

People should also take a little time to clean them up before going...saw too many with dust, dirt, water marks, etc... Just embarrassing to see a 100k ZR1 with water spots on the clear section of the popped hood.

I liked cars and coffee for the variety of stuff there, you always had a good representation of different models. You might have a super clean fox body notch parked next to new Ferrari. Their was a time I went, a lambo parked next to me, just never know what you are going to see. This isn't Concours d'elegance at Pebble Beach, I am sure some water spots are ok, some guys just aren't hard core waxers.

Who knows man, always either off shore or have some thing going on. One day I hope, I haven't been in a while. Last time I went was when I saw you.

Crystal said that she might want to go next month too, with the little man. Will be interesting to see if she wakes up that early...

No, some cars were just flat out dirty.

I used water spots as an example of that they could have at least cleaned off the hood window. The entire car needed to be cleaned up.

If you don't want to take the time to clean the car up, just don't bring it out.
