Default tsp experiences lets hear em

Thinking about having them do my tune. I'd like to hear all I can both good and bad to help decide. I don't want to hear arguing or Bs .

Had them do my dyno tune, on my old H/C setup, they did a great job,,John is the one who did it. I would recommend them to anyone. If I lived closer I would have went back,,(5 hour drive) . No worries with them,,I know a great tuner in benbrook also, he did my stroker combo.

Thanks. I know of a good one there too but it's one that I have had a personality conflict with and don't know if I could trust them. anyone else?

Not a problem with them, but I would use a local tuner just in case you make changes or have problems down the road.

You won't hear bad. If there is, the thread will be deleted because they're a sponsor.
I'm not saying anything against TSP, I learned the hard way (with another past sponsor) that that is the way this forum is. You can't trust sponsor reviews very well because of it, IMO.

I have only been a buyer of a lot of their inventory but I got to say they really do provide great service and also when I talked to them on the phone about what I wanted for my car they really guided me in the right direction.

Nothing bad to say about TSP but if you're that close to DFW/FTW I'd use a tuner there.

The last car I had with a TSP tune ran good WOT. The drivability was terrible. Surging and dying all the time. I have only oredred parts from them one time and it was the last time.

I had great luck buying parts. The were fairly priced and the shipped when they said they would. John answered all of my questions and set me up with a good combo.

Decided to talk to the guys in benbrook and see about giving them a shot. Talked to a blonde headed guy that seemed decent enough. I was upfront about my last experience and he said he would have the owner give me a call when he got back in a few hours. But no call.

I live close to TSP and several of my friends had their cars tuned there with great results. I have bought many parts from them as well and seen them tune a few cars. If you decide to make the drive, I'm sure they will take care of you.

I'll share....

Back when I was in West Texas I ventured to the shop on occasion. I'll never forget one weekend I was up at the shop. A father and son drove down from Missouri to have Jason dyno tune the built 414ci they stuffed in a c5 z06. The image that is burned in my head is that silver vette on a trailer leaving the shop on its way back to MISSOURI! I dont know if it was because I was fairly new to the scene or what, but I could not get over the haul those guys made for the top service that TSP provided to them . It really said something about TSP and what they were doing at that time in my opinion.

Are you talking about the white ss you got from me...that car had a mail order tune from when that car was from Georgia and I never had a problem with the car dying(not once) surging on the other had happened very rarely

And for the record I purchased the car from the Georgia resident and it already had the mods on it, I drove it to the panhandle of Texas and did not have any issues and I drove it for a little over a year with no issues

I have dealt with tsp in the past and have not had bad experiences, they always answered my questions and customer service was good

I also know many people that have dealt with them with positive experiences, from purchasing products and customer service to engine installs and h/c/i swaps and dyno tunes
