Default Need a Lil help (Number Trace)

As some people knows my Jeep was broken into Friday morning early. Well walking thru my yard there sits in the middle of my yard a cell phone.

Charged it up and find this.

I am gonna go out on a limb here and say this is the perps cell phone and he is not white. Of course the cell is locked and turned off but I got grandma's number and no one answered but seems to be a home answering machine.

Gonna work on getting this phone unlocked and the number traced.

If anyone can help pm me it's a verizon cell. I have a idea where these people live as it was toward that path and there is a limited few of these people that stay in my area (cobblestone)

Report was filed with HPD Friday at 5am but I wanna do research on my own before turning in the phone to them.

Number Trace (832) 660-5745 could be home or a verizon cell number.

Noone will trace the number for you without a warrant. Turn it into the police that you believe it is the perps cell phone and have them trace it.

If you havent put your finger prints all over it police might have been able to match the ones on your phone to the ones possibly left on your jeep. If you havent already tried this i suggest you do so unless youve handled it too much. Other then that just turn it in and see if they can make a case out of it.

Thats usually how it goes but you can request it. They may not want to, since they usually feel it wont go anywhere, but you can have them do it.

If its been under a certain time frame IIRC and have evidence that may lead to finding a suspect you should be able to get them to come out.

O they answered and as thought they were some hood black folks. Claimed that they didn't loose a cell phone and she was the only one in the household that had a phone. I called bullshit because she was listed as ICE. I asked her to meet me when she gets off work tommrow. She says she does live off 290 but would not tell me where. I looked around my house and I know where the house is. Some thugs *** guys in a Buick. Might light it on fire tonight.

Any HPD here that can help me with this case let me know. I won't it handled not pushed to the side.

Lol. This is considered a victimless crime. They will not spend any manhours or money investingating this. The police come out and file a report so you can claim it on your insurance.

Hope you keep the thread going. I'd like to know how this turns out. If the person is related to who Kidfromthepast information posted, this is pretty close to my house. I deleted a part of your post from this quote. Suggest you do the same. GL man

Even though thats true still doesnt mean it cant be done. I've had it done when my car was broken into i didnt even ask. Although HPD might just not do that i guess.
