Find the problem and repair it?

If someone put new airbags in (like a collision center) then take it back because they didnt do something correctly.

Lol, I wish it was that easy.

The people that did my car can't help, it's one of those I wish I would have never taken my car there. I'm better off trying to fix it myself. The but a new one or used one in the steering wheel and dash but im unsure of the next stop

There are laptop-based scanners/software that can reset the SRS system and turn off the light. I own this one, though I haven't messed with it much:

Or do like I've done before, pull the cluster out, take the clear plastic cover off, and peel up the corner of the gauge inlay and put some electrical tape over the hole with the air bag light in it. Problem solved.

Why not just pull the bulb out?

It was just easier to cover it up for me. Seems like there wasn't alot of room to get to the bulb or something.

Sounds like he isn't trying to cover up the warning light, but actually fix the problem. Your solutions sound like 99% of honda owners with engine swaps that just rip out the p/s and a/c because it was just easier to remove it than finding the solution.

Well if you had the cluster out the bulb is right there on the back side, actually less work than pulling the cluster apart..

Side note: I am in no way recommending anyone pull the bulb or cover it, my point was simply that it's much easier to pull the bulb than cover it up.

OP take your car to the dealer and have it fixed properly, then charge the original shop the bill for the proper repair. It's not unheard of to do this.

Lol. If it was something that needed to be fixed correctly in my application, I would have. However, I wasn't worried about it and just got tired of looking at the light. I wasn't going to spend any money getting the light turned off when it wasn't necessary.

As far as pulling the bulb, I never bothered pulling it because I could just peel up the overlay and cover it. I think it was in the corner anyway. It was for my '69 and I was going to cut it up in the end.
