Detail - Tahoe
Anyways... He wanted it cleaned up to get the paint looking better and not so dull and ridded with swirls. The passenger side had been repainted (very poorly I might add) and had a haze on those panels along with deep sanding marks (which you can see in some pics) but those weren't to be corrected on this "beater" this go around.
Corrected with Meguiars DA MF D300
Topped with Meguiars DA MF D301.
I'll spare the rest of the products used for the smaller things like wheels trim etc.
Hood before. Paint was engulfed in deep swirling. (most of the truck looked this way)

After correcting with D300

Passenger fender. Strong haze and deeeeep swirling coupled with a poor paint job.

My buddy didn't want me to touch the passenger side but I couldn't let it go. I gave it two passes with D300.

Hood in sunlight.

Driver side rear quarter uncorrected:

Corrected

Haze on the passenger side door. If you look where my gloves are, you can seee the deep sanding marks.

Notice the clarity in the picture as apposed to the one above. Big difference, not perfect...but much better. (again he didn't want me to touch this side so I did it as a favor)

Rear gate

Thanks for looking.

The new Meguiars MF system is amazing and turns out great results in little time. It's my new "go to" product for almost all details. It works well with other liquids as well too. Just keep in mind it's intended for factory paint. I like to play around with different combinations.
Boat paint is MUCH MUCH harder than traditional automotive paint. Are you using marine specific products?

I'm adding another 25x45 on my shop so that it can be stored inside, when its done in the next few weeks I will move the boat inside where it will be cooler to finish.
