Corvette made 23lbs of boost in 3rd gear, which was 5 more than yesterday, then broke the trans..

Camaro went 244 today, josh had to lift a couple times and at the end becuase of the crazy head wind.

The TX mile staff recorded 31mph head wind today. We are not going to try anymore today due to how unsafe the conditions are.

it would have easily had it, if it were not for the insane head wind. It was relentless.. Worst conditions I have ever seen at any mile, unreal how bad it was.

they said they maxed the 1500hp dyno, this is what it made on 22.8lbs. Probably not too much different.

Glad I missed this one since the big headwind hurt everyone's chances.

Congrats LMR and Kelly Bise. You guys aren't far from taking the throne.

Thanks for the nice words, there is NO DOUBT both cars will exceed 250mph in normal conditions. Im not the kind of person to talk about what things can and should do, I just like DOING it, but after this weekend I have no doubts...

And Heffner or whatever that shop has the Florida Mile record, but when they came to Texas they could not back up the record in the Ford GT. You act like this is a HUGE deal to them. Go read L4P and see how much UGR needs the TX Mile for advertisement, etc... I think all those $50-$100k+ kits they pump out it seems weekly is doing well even though they only have the Goliad Mile.

I wish I knew. It is VERY profitable, but an exact figure I don't know. The two brothers are originally from Texas and came from the Mustang world. I do know if you go to Luxury 4 Play they are a sponsor and there are a good amount of post weekly of different customers build threads posted by the customer or by the shop. I know the base kit is $35k, but most people have the Stage 2+ kits $65k and up. One of their customers owns the 193Xrwhp Orange LP, 1000rwhp LP, 1800rwhp Black Gallardo, TT SV, etc.. This is all at one time, not over the years LOL!

I went by their small shop when I was in North Carolina a few weeks ago and was told they has 20+ projects going on right now. Didn't even get to see their big shop but probably had 12 cars at the small one consisting of SL's, murci, R8, and viper. Pretty cool coincidence I was deployed so close
