99 firebird v6 to v8 swap i need help I have a 1999 firebird that i am looking to swap the 3.8 v6 motor out for some sort of v8 or maybe an ls1. I have never done a swap on a car before.
what parts do i need to do this swap. of course i need the motor the trany Ecu and wiring harness but what else am i going to need? and if possible where can i get the part for cheap and have them still reliable.

Not the answer youd like to hear, but its for the best. Save yourself the headache and just sell yours and use the proceeds towards a full v8 with matching numbers and all. The time and money youll put into it will equate what youd spend on a used trans am. You wouldnt just need the motor and tranny, youd need piping to blow all the smoke out as well. Did a civic to type R engine swap when i was younger, all the money and headache that pursued that project just wasnt worth it.
