There are other countries that are higher per capita and exceed their GDP, but we beat everyone with regard to total external debt owed.
Obama has managed to pretty much tripple the national debt in just under 4 years. At least Bush stablized it at 4 trillion, and that isn't saying much. I just hope we aren't borrowing from the IMF.
