I've never been to evadale before but have a few friends that go regularly that love it. Decent track prep, nice operators, and usually pretty short lines its just so damn far for most coming from the Houston area unless you're in the woodlands area.

Glad to hear the driver is ok. I think we installed headers and x-pipe a long time ago on that car!

And FYI Dallas Raceway is the best track in TEXAS!

"just whipple"? Last time I spoke to Chris, he said the car put down 635 rwhp - through an automatic trans. That is closer to 700 rwhp if it were a manual. Like I said, boosting up has its limits. Boost greed is what we call it, turning it up to push the limits of a stock engine. Personally, I don't feel safe pushing any stock internal LS3/L99 over 550 rwhp. Yes, it has been done, but it rarely lasts for long. Forged pistons and rods are a must.

While that statement might be true for Positive Displacement Supercharged motors that see 8-10 psi throughout the entire rpm range.

But we have had great success with the centrifugal superchargers that only see 8-10 psi for very short times at high RPM.

Not to mention much cooler IAT's when inter cooled properly.

Yep... same car... I've also heard Enis has a good track (Texas Motorplex) might be a little closer.

Correct... He did pully down to get 635. A couple of the others have cams and nitrous adders, but they also have LSX blocks in the works now. Was definitely a wake up call for the 5th geners...

Ouch! Just glad they are ok, looks like a horrible wreck for sure!

I wouldn't let ARD change my oil anymore after discovering what they did to my car. ARD's work has almost killed me several times, quite literally.

its out of respect to the driver being humiliated not only on the track but on the forms across the internet. It sucks that he already lost his ride, it would be worse to see pics/vids of the incident.

What makes him any different from anyone else getting their pics posted on the net to not get his pics posted.

why would he be humiliated? Accidents happen all the time at the race track and on the streets. Anytime you are dealing with a High HP car your chances are going to increase. Humiliation is wrecking your C6Z doing a burnout...

I would be more Humiliated about everyone knowing ARD worked on my car than wrecking it.

Seen the video... lots of white smoke, and then some tires squealing
he was running a white lightning, and got a good jump on him.. you can see the motor letting go about halfway down the old 1/8th mile section.

There is nothing he can do, people are going to post the pictures and videos. I'm sure the main reason is he does not want his insurance company to find out, they will deny the claim.

Sorry he lost his car but **** does happen.
