Ok just got my ls6 valley cover in, well, they sent it with the regular hex headed bolts. Already took a trip to home depot, and vatozone... no dice. It got late so the local hardware stores had already closed, which I am going to hit up tomorrow morning. Does anybody know a for sure place I could pick these up at tomorrow. Also, do I need to use rtv for the map sensor on a fast intake. Ive read a few threads that said yeah, and few that mentioned nothing. If I do need some, what kind? hi temp or what. Thanks guys.

i just bought some stainless ones off ebay for $23 shipped... if you're interested pm me an i'll give you the seller's info... as for the map sensor you can use silicone to help it seal better or relocate it

Im asking about the valley cover bolts, not the bolts for the intake. After I swap the intake I will have the stock style intake bolts, but plan on holding on to them incase I ever go back to the ls6 setup/ or sell it all together.

Hey thanks a ton guys. Found em at a fastenal close by. Unfortunately I wont be able to do the swap this weekend, car is taking a bit more time to get back to me then was expected, not to mention I gotta go out of town for 3-4 days for work. But I'll keep everyone posted on the work to come. Ill be changing my setup from lid back to the mani. Im pretty stoked about it.

yep, learned my lesson on that one when I did the head swap. Ill be making sure to start out with maximum patience so I'm not running to the store picking up crap I broke. I just need a few misc things before I start like a inch# tq wrench, some band clamps, and a fuel line quick disconnect. Not to mention some time.
