I was at shell for a year and there was alot of old timers in there ready to retire within the next 3 yrs. Thats where i realy want to work at i love that place n know it like the back of my hand.

Even if it's not what they say, I won't have to work the long hours like in a plant and it's a more laid back style of hard work. My stepmom was top dog saleswoman at Dignity memorial and made well over $100,000 a year. She wants me in with the pipeline but I don't want to leave here. She quit because after about 7 years all of her customers she had seen every week started to pass and she got really depressed, it's not the happiest line of work. I'll put up with a lot for a nice paycheck though.
Best part is I can still go to college, that was the icing on the cake. PM me if you want more info on it.

Wear khakis and a button down or 3 button polo. You could even wear jeans but make sure they are nice...not all ripped up and raggedy. Also, no sneakers. You should be clean shaven with a fresh haircut. Basically, don't go in there looking sloppy. If you do, you will be written off before the interview even starts.

To all my friends on here keep trying because there is like at the end of the tunnel I just got a offer from Dow Chemical in Plaquemine, LA it took me about a year to finally get hired on somewhere. Thank God
