Once the Charger is paid off I think I'll be picking up a C5Z, or maybe even a C6Z by that time. Wanting to hold on to the firehawk.

At my price point, a clean LS3 was tough to find, I looked for months most were some what beat and worn. This car was cared for really nicely, the fact Joe (Username) thought it was clean says some thing.

Not till driver mod is done. Come on man, you know I can't sell 93 but it'll be a long term project. It was my first car, it was time to move on but I still plan to keep it.

Congrats Neil! Looks like a clean one.

Make sure you join the Corvette forums so you can get advice on what floormats to get and what shiny satin Corvette jacket you should wear in the "Corvettes only" parking section of car shows.

It has a set of Lloyd Mats in it, it looks like a typical Vette owner, but the mods are tasteful and it doesnt have any weird interior mods or extra chrome trim

I had the same problem when i was looking for a c6 ls3. At the price i could afford they was either a very base model, higher miles and not taken care of.

no offense to the 5.0 but the c6z vette is pure sex compared to it. Good buy bro! I must have one someday.

I liked the Mustang for the drivetrain, but not much else. It's a nice car and if you need back seats, it's a great car. But I can't say when I look at a Mustang I have a feeling of I want one, every time I saw a C6 I wanted one pretty bad.

Congrats on grad school, MBA? It's very tough to get in to grad school with a down economy, so congrats on that, I know it wasn't easy.

^^^ lol!

Congrats Neil... I hate you!

J/K

I would be in one if my wife had not asked if the Vett had back seats...
that was a deal killer.

So she bought me my 2011 SS, so it wasn't toooooo bad.

I should have just gone out and bought the Vett and asked for forgiveness later.

BT03mach-1,

I wanted a LS3 pretty bad and looked at several, most were junky or not well cared for. I couldn't see spending $30K+ on a car and then turning around and spending money fixing stuff. I already have a car that needs money fixing stuff, it's a 93 Trans Am. This car being purely a toy, I wasn't willing to up my budget either.

Thanks Jon, yours is killer. I wanted one for a long time, just didn't make sense to get one.

Blackfly,

I already have the Sierra with back seats, so I didn't care if this one had them. But you have a family so I know you have to make compromises. 5th gen is still a helluva car, I am sure your enjoying it nicely.

Tyler,

Thanks boo
