Default i hate flip up headlights

I was on my way to work this morning and it seems I only had one screw in the front holding the headlight coverand it worked its way out. Grr so it was flopping in the wind and now I have a line where it was rubbing against the hood. Found a spare screw in my center console. Ill have to fix it when I get out of work. I hate having scratches. Wonder if I can buff it out

It probably will buff out, but that still sucks! I love flip out headlights! Nothing wrong with the plain headlights, but whenever you take the headlights out of a C5 and put those plain ugly *** one's, you deserve to be shot in the foot!

Where do you find the screw that holds the cover on? I lost one on my driver side headlight.

Try hitting the remote and having 1 side flip up and the other stay down.

I black siliconed mine the back of mine... would have used locker but I had a tube open.
There was a Guy down the street from me in a mr2 had flip up lights he took both his lights off and used JB Weld to bond it down.

When I hit that deer in my pewter one and had to combine two different headlight assemblys to make one. I never could get the gaps right. Every time I thought it looked right it would catch the hood and not come up. Don't ever try to go to gm for headlight parts. You'd have to buy the whole thing for roughly $1k. Even a junk yard charged me 100 bucks.
