I agree with everyone else, contact the owners of the storage lot and try to find out more or do some checks on the VIN it could be possible they were stolen as to I find it hard to believe the owner would leave to cars like that sitting wasting away in the grass at a storage lot.
Unless someone who owns them only recently put them there for a short time and plan to get them soon?

As a matter of facts while I was deployed. My car was at a performance shop being built. When I returned on R&R it was n sad shape. Different rims cracked dash a ruined transmission and upon pulling heads pistons installed wrong. Good luck on saving these two cars. Nice finds BTW.

I would be willing to bet the door was probably closed on that car, someone was probably just being nosy looking inside or broke into it and thats why it was left open. Sad to see these cars in this shape, makes you wonder what else is out there just sitting behind some building no one knows about
