Lmao, I'm very content with where I live. I used to have a 3,000 sq ft house, and I've paid light bills that were north of $1k before. I'm just living simple these days

4400 SQFT bill was $360 last month. It take $75-$100 a month to run my fish tank, so it would be lower. Very well insulated house with isonen spray in foam. Water bill $297

Just got mine today. $338. 3100sq ft with 2 AC units. Keeping the AC at about 78. Was paying almost .12 on the adjustable rate from Ambit. Stupid me. Switched to a 2 year fixed rate at .092 mid cycle of this bill, averaged out to .105. Hoping next bill comes down a bit.

3100 sqft 2 story, stays at 73 when home and 80 when were at work.(digital thermostat) Last bill was $180.00. We have a huge A/C unit and it can cool the whole house in a little over an hour. We have cost average billing for 2 years so We pay between 140 and 180 all year. Its nice to know how much your bill is going to be on average.

Each penny that you can decrease your rate per kilowatt will save you $10 per 1000 kilowatts so that's an easy way to save yourself some money each month..

2000 kw x .14 rate= $280 bill

vs

2000 kw x .09 rate= $180 bill

Save $100 just by switching providers!!!

I wish we had that luxury. There are only 2 electric companys here, Lubbock Power & Light and South Plains Electric Co-op. They each have their claim on certain areas, so its almost a monopoly for them. They can raise rates however they want, customers can't go anywhere else but through them for power.

I have a new beazer home as well (2300 sq two story) but I have the second highest eco package. Mybill was $160 in same month.
