koni shocks install

Default koni shocks install

So we installed the koni adjustables yesterday front and rears. Once we got done we realized there was a washer looking part in the box left over... anybody know where this goes? Its about 3 inches in diameter and about 1/8 inch thick with a small whole in the middle..... I think thats the best way to descibe it.Please let me know if youll have an idea on where that goes... thank you

Sounds like a washer that goes above or below a bushing on the rears or is it the one in the picture in the link below.

Yeah I would say it's the washer for the back also. If you didn't reuse the stock one prepare for some rattles. I forgot mine on my shock install and the rear shock would smack off the bottom of the car over every bump. It's fixed now so it's all good.

yes sir it looks like the one in that picture. we left that out.....

I found this picture online too. its that washer looking part....

I hope it goes in the rear cause the front is all mounted up.

It looks like the washer that sits below the upper shock mount in the front.

If so i have to take off the assembly and take the spring off the shock or youre saying it goes above that?

If that is the washer I'm thinking of, yes, it's important. It goes on the front shocks, on the piston between the shock body and the "cup". It gives the cup a level surface to sit on.
