Default Ben Tate

Can run his *** off. With him and Foster in the backfield, we have a 2 headed monster. Welcome to the team Mr Tate.

And another thing, did anyone watch Sports Center last night? They showed about 25 seconds of the game, and not a single Tate play.

Sportscenter ain't gonna give the Texans (or any Houston team) any love........all you will hear about are the same ole teams.......just like when the Astros actually made their World Series run........no love then either until they made it to the WS.....

If you want a good drinking game......watch Sportscenter and drink every time you hear Romo, Brady, Manning, or Big Ben

Do that with Brett Favre and it's hello cirrhosis!

Tate looked awesome. I hope he keeps it up, otherwise he'll be back in Gomer Kubiak's doghouse. Brooks Reed also looked great, even though he was going up against the 2nd and 3rd teams. Nice to have some depth at OLB.

Texans defense looked a little sloppy against the run last night. Hopefully, that's just the "we're playing base defense because we'll see the Saints again in the regular season" thing.

Schaub definitely redeemed himself, too. He was terrible in the first game, but looked sharp last night.

Not sure this year since they don't play each other. I got stuck with that damn pink helmet avatar last year. The hype isn't as high this year from the media for the Texans, but I am expecting another failure of a season. 7-9 due to the tough schedule they have in the 1st 6 games. Cowgirls, I hope they go 0-16 but realistically they could be 10-6

I don't think we'll have a losing season. The play-action is going to be killer with Foster and Tate in the backfield. Foster looks lethal again and Andre was tearing **** up Saturday.
We are insanely stacked on defense (front 7). We will have fresh players in at all times.

I think it will be a good season.

Oh, and ESPN is gay. All you will hear out of them is how Michael Vick has turned his life around and how great the NY Jets are.

I am a die hard Cowboys fan but I think the Texans look good this year so far. I hope they have a good year, Even though it was preseason I was glad to see they put the Saints in their place and even got in Drew Brees face a few times. I cannot stand the Saints...

Agree.

I believe we will have a better record than the Cowgirls at the end. Defense is looking tight in their zones. I'm excited again this year!

Houston will probably have a better record this year, but I attribute it more to Houston's division being easier this year.

If anyone wants to make a small wager ($50-100) Ill bet that the Texans at least win 9 games this season.

You are on. I actually hope they do well, but it has been disappointment after disappointment every year and I figured reverse psychology will help.

Locked in for $100

The Texans look really good. The defense is picking up quickly. The linebacker core is stacked and the defensive line is looking much better. If the secondary can get all the bugs worked out we may have a top 10 defense.

The running game is SICK! You can take out our 1st and 2nd string but you still have someone coming in that can make plays! Even the 5th string running back can kick ***.

I predict 10 games won.

Top 10 defense? Keep dreaming. Barring major injuries, the offense should be near the top but the defense has a long way to go before it sniffs the top 10.

Colts sign Kerry Collins leading to even more rumors Peyton Manning will not be ready Week 1 vs. the Texans.

Beautiful! We should steamroll the Colts without Manning.
