Our shop
Our shop I thought I would give a little tour of our shop right now. Were located in Alvin TX. Were on 5 acres and the shop used to be a horse stable. We mostly do custom interiors but were getting into custom glass, motor work and swaps, fiberglass work and eventually paint and body. This is how it was when we first got the property.

The first thing we did was extend the wall where the awning was and then layer concrete
And this is how the shop is currently.. we have double the shop to 4000 sq ft with plans of a paint booth and a lift. Its a little messy and cramped right now because we have 4 people working in 2000 sq ft until we get the walls put up in the new section.

Busy day. We have 12 chevy's on the property and I'm the only one driving a ford hah.
Concrete and framework in the back
This is our 'new to us' paint booth we got from a local body shop that was getting rid of it. Full size paint boot, once we get it put up were going to repair it and paint it.
This is the newest section of the shop. Soon we will get the walls up and start with the paint booth. It wasn't planned but somehow the trailer buts up with the slab perfectly to load and unload cars.

Bad *** property dude. I would love to have something like that one day. I don't mean to be rude, but how much does it cost to build a barn like that? I'm buying some land in two years and I'm planning to build a barn/shop before I build a home.
If I knew I would tell you. The barn was already there, so what we have paid for so far is concrete (about 8 or 9 truck loads), the support beams were about 400, and I know the materials for the sheet metal for the knew building is around 3500. As far as labor goes I don't know because we have done most of it ourselves. There are a lot of places you can call to get a quote over the phone. Look for a barn company I think thats the best part of it is that it looks like a barn from the road.
