The other end of the connecter is stuck because of the intake?
Does it just not a little weird? Or is it actually making a bad sound (knocking, pinging, bad idle, etc)? Did you actually try driving it, or did you just start it?

the knock sensor harness has to go back where it is supposed to in order for the connector to be able to reach and plug in...I actually drove it, no knocking or anything, it just doesn't sound the same, I guess since I have nothing to do today I'll try to take it back apart and put the knock sensor harness back where it goes and plug it in...

Now, if it doesn't necessarily sound worse but just different, and the knock sensors being connected doesn't change that. You could've had a slight intake leak before we took the intake off since the bolts were kind of loose.

I wish I could come listen to the motor myself. I know we got everything back together properly except for the knock sensors and air injection system. The air injection system won't change the way the car sounds though, but the knock sensors definitely might.
