There is no middle ground in the SEC though, there are the perennial winners and losers. Florida, Auburn, Alabama and LSU are great almost every year but the other teams are rarely ever heard from. Theres quite the hill to climb for A&M to be consider in the same sentence as the teams I mentioned. I just dont see it going well for them. The only people who are going to want to play for them are the ones that have some sort of heritage tie IMO.

I agree 100%. But im not saying A&M is going to be in the top group. Im just saying they will be better. An SEC school that loses 4 conference games a year is still a school that can wreck shop in big nonconference and bowl games. Being an SEC weathered team could help them avoid collapses like the last two games, for instance.
Plus, I don't know that I agree with y'all about their recruiting. I can see just being in the SEC alone would help a bit. A&M isn't a bad school or a bad program. I could see them being a 2-3 loss SEC school. Maybe once a decade or so.

Saw a story on this earlier. Apparently that cadet worked with the A&M grad who was mostly responsible with rescuing the Chilean miners. That kid worked with the company and helped out with the rescue. He puts up the Chilean flag to raise awareness for the rescued miners and the A&M grad who spear-headed the rescue mission.
Not sure why I'm telling you guys this, since it is all just dumb aggy logic.

Tough losses for sure, one half we look make the other team look like a pop warner squad then the 2nd half we just collapse. Im hoping they get it figured out asap. Between the cowboys and aggies im going to have a heart attack sometime this year.

This month marks the 1 year anniversary of the rescue and his dad was receiving an award.
Greg was Class of '82 and was in the Corps. He was supposed to go to the game, but was diverted to Chile at the Chilean President's request, as they were opening up a Museum in honor of the rescued miners and all who participated -- the President personally asked Greg to be there. Greg's wife and two of his children were at the game (along with one of mine). They didn't mention anything about placing a Chilean flag, but I guess it is possible.

Father (rescuer) was in the Corps.

Yes, yes he does.
But it paid off -- financially as well. On Tuesday, he said, a top official from Codelco, a government-run Chilean mining company, told him they wanted to start using Hall's tools to drill water wells more quickly.
"Pragmatically, this will be very financially beneficial for my company, and I'm not ashamed to say that," he said.
Hall owns three companies -- Drillers Supply International Houston, DSI American Manufacturing in Minnesota and Drillers Supply SA in Chile. The latter two are Aggie 100 companies, which recognize the fastest growing Aggie-owned businesses.

Father (rescuer) was in the Corps, as is his son who hung that flag.
