Oh yeah, just agreeing with you that this guy banks....a lot.
More facts for ya, the masonry would not support boards from the outside, so they said f*** the windows, we'll save the rest of the store from a massive cleanup.

Nice try but there are MANY ways to anchor anything to masonry. We do it all the time. Nevermind the fact that if the windows blow out the entire inside of the store would be blasted moisture therefore pretty much making the plywood a mute point. Thats an example of Aggy ignorance or lazyness, you decide.
The shop's windows will not support the weight of plywood screwed into the frames. Neither is there sufficient masonry wall surrounding them for an attachment.
