I remember the one my dad made me. was 12 or so feet high. 4 legs that 1x2. Thing was a deathtrap but had some of the most fun in that thing until it blew over...with me in it.

I started to hand dig them but when the post hole digger bounced back like I was on Concrete I have to rent the auger. Even with the auger it kicked our *** because the ground was so hard. Best $80.00 I spent this weekend, only too about 45 minuted to drill the holes
He did an awesome job. He nailed all the flooring and did not miss a floor joist.
My wife told me I was going over board but they are only kids once.
Take your time, I waited till I was 28 to have kids. Their awesome...

I thought about building another tree house in my backyard with a rope bridge connecting them but both the trees are now about to die so I dont plan on building a second one.

Put them pretty close together with a rope bridge connecting them. That will increase the cool factor

Dam Chad.Your lucky Id have to submit paper work for approval from my Home Owners Association,Get a permit from League City and sit back and hope everything gets approved.
I guess I have to settle for the kids loving our garage time together.Thank you for teaching your kids something they will never learn in school.I will never forget my dads old saying."Do it right,or dont do it at all"

Next month I'm going to finish my addition on my shop. After this weekend I'm beginning to feel like Bob the Builder...
