I remember the one my dad made me. was 12 or so feet high. 4 legs that 1x2. Thing was a deathtrap but had some of the most fun in that thing until it blew over...with me in it.

Yours looks to be MUCH higher quality. Congrats on the father son time

I'm going to run power and put a ceiling fan in there. I have a window unit we used for Hurricane IKE I can put in there. My light bill is high enough so I do not know if it is going to go in on the back side.
That's good to hear, I'm really looking forward to being a dad one day.

Keep it up.

I started to hand dig them but when the post hole digger bounced back like I was on Concrete I have to rent the auger. Even with the auger it kicked our *** because the ground was so hard. Best $80.00 I spent this weekend, only too about 45 minuted to drill the holes

He did an awesome job. He nailed all the flooring and did not miss a floor joist.

Put them pretty close together with a rope bridge connecting them. That will increase the cool factor

I thought about building another tree house in my backyard with a rope bridge connecting them but both the trees are now about to die so I dont plan on building a second one.

Thats the good thing about living out in the country, I do not have to deal with that bullshit just to build my kids a Club House.

Next month I'm going to finish my addition on my shop. After this weekend I'm beginning to feel like Bob the Builder...

I hate HOA's they reject improvements/projects immediately but when something is screwed up they should cover it's a PIA and takes forever!

Christmas lights would be nice for lights to help keep the build down. Just enough to see in there with. Just a thought.

Nice work, in for finished pics!

I'm going to run a 40amp Circuit out there so that they can have power for their radio, TV, etc... I'm going to install a ceiling fan so they will have some air. I do have a window unit I bought for Hurricane Ike but I just don't know if I'm going to put it in there.
