Please Help: Where to buy Heim Joints and DOM tubing in Houston Well here goes a question for the folks in the Houston or Golden Triangle area
Two classmates and I are building a Ariel Atom inspired car for our senior design project at Lamar University. We were inspired to build our own frame since we wanted to initially participate in the Formula SAE contest but we were not supported by our professors or school funding.
Thus we are now making our own version of an Ariel Atom. We have a rought CAD design at the moment and will be using the motor and transmission off a 1997 Infiniti I30
I know bad choice of motor but what can we do it was free.
We are looking to buy DOM and Chromoly tubing by the end of this month but also need names of suppliers of heim joints and clevises in either Houston or the Beaumont area.
