I hope we can keep up the good play.

The Texans have also won four straight -- by 90 points.

They lead the NFL in point differential at +107 entering Monday night.

I was really impressed with their performance yesterday. I thought they would pull off a victory, but I thought they would have had some trouble. There is plenty of room for improvement though.

I am really looking forward to the Atlanta game. I think that game will tell us all we need to know about this team. The Texans are playing well, they should have 'Dre back, and Atlanta will be about as hungry as anyone. If they take out Atlanta, I'm gonna have a hard time being pessimistic......

On another note, how bout those NFC east juggernauts.....

Washington loses to the Colorado State Broncos
Philly loses to AZ and their backup QB
Giants lose to SF, but I like SF.......coaching staff = awesome
Dallas whips up on Buffalo......I made money on that game

I don't think there are many t-shirt fans on tech, that's for sure... we've been waiting a long 9 years for a season like this :o

And the season may be getting close to be over. Matt Schaub will not play in 2 WEEKS against the Jags with a foot injury just when AJ comes back. Gary Kubiak would not go into detail and would not answer a question if it was broke. Only to say he's seeing a specialist in a few days.

So your new starting QB is Matt Leinhart. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This team is reminding me of the Rockets with Yao and McGrady.

As long as our running game can keep this pace and stay healthy through the rest of the year, Leinart will be able to manage.

Having AJ back will help him greatly and also the other receivers will get more breathing room as well.

Werd.

Matt Leinart knows this offense and isn't exactly a scrub.

Yep. Lets hope they can keep punching the D in the mouth with their rushing attack.

Luckily, no huge losses for the offensive line. Should allow Leinart to hopefully transition in quickly.

The Texans might be in trouble now. Still have to score points and make plays. I see a 3-3 record down the stretch now. Should be good enough to make it, but could get a bad draw if we are the #3/4 seed.

But if you are then wtf is he then? He wasn't good in Arizona. He doesn't have to be Elway or even Schaub though since we have a defense and running game. I hope he manages the game well and doesn't try to play outside himself.

Hopefully they don't change the gamplan at all. RUN RUN RUN and RUN some more. I think Leinart is good enough (hopefully) to throw to AJ and O-Dawg. God I hope he is.

Matt Schaub hasn't had too much pressure on his shoulders for a while now since the running game is in high gear. If the O-line and those RB's keep it up, I think even Leinart could fill the role decently. He just needs to sell the play action well, and get his timing down. I think he is better on his feet than Schaub, so you never know. I think getting his timing down with the first team offense is gonna be paramount.......that , and not trying to force the flow of the game. If he just just plays fundamentally sound, and makes good decisions, I don't think we'll see much of a change from what we've seen the last few weeks.

Anyone know if his arm strength is better? MS seems to have a weak arm and always under throws to players.

We have a good enough team this year to stand a good chance even with Leinart. Have a little faith in the rest of the team. It's not like they are going to turn into the colts after Payton left, Shaub is good and all but he isn't carrying the team.

This isn't like losing peyton manning guys, but there will be a dropoff. Schaub was an above average QB and leinart hasn't even proven he can be average. Yes the running game will help him, and yes Andre will help when he's back, but teams are still going to stack the box and leinart will have to make some plays. Schaub knows this offense like the back of his hand, he's more accurate and he knows the recievers/tight ends strengths and weaknesses. It will take some time for leinart to gel with the offense, not to mention the offensive line will have to make adjustments since he will be rolling out the opposite way. We're still going to the playoffs we just aren't the contender we were 24 hours ago. Only time will tell....fingers crossed!!!!

I'm not saying he's a badass. I'm just saying he isn't shitty. I believe Leinart had a couple of bad starts in his sophomore season with Arizona and they had Kurt Warner. Kurt Warner comes in, does a goood job and it's game over for Leinart. Why would any coach go back to their inexperienced QB when they've got a Superbowl MVP QB with a hot hand?

Leinart had a pretty good preseason. I hope he can get the job done.

I'm not trying to take anything at all away from Schaub, but if you remember the 2 TD passes he threw Sunday you'll know pretty much any QB could have made those passes. One was a dump out to Arian Foster who made a couple of moves to get to the endzone. The other was a pass (which was underthrown) to a wide open Jacob Jones who made a move to get to the endzone.
