I think that's the direction I have decided to go with, cam, stall, u/d pulley, tune, and be done with it....If I decide to later, I guess I could add headers, etc.

No problem with that.. Hell I ran my 3800 stall on a stock tranny for a long time..

He's not taking it to the track so the abuse is not going to be bad.

This car is more of a show car for him.

Don't mean to confuse you yellowta1 ... Well I have read heard stories about the tranny holding up after stall or some blowing after few hundred miles... But then again they all tool their cars to the track...I've been debating this my self... I'm on the fence wether to save up or rebuilt or just throw the stall in there... Mine won't see the track either...
