My 2010 Camaro was manual. My 2011 Camaro is auto. Camaro weighs 3850, CTS-V weighs 4200. You might laugh about this, but the CTS-V actually feels more nimble and smaller than a Camaro. Parked side by side, they are about the same size. My G8 GT was automatic, I enjoyed driving it too.

What lol. The M3 Sedan is about 3900 lbs coupe is like 3700. The Camaro/Challenger fatties are 3850/3950.

You mean to tell me the <300 lbs would make this car crummy to drive with a stick. LoL

If its too loud you're too old. Auto's are for dragging or old people.

I should have purchased the G8 Fire-hawk when I could of with the prices these are pulling now.

Better get rid of all those manual 7000+ lbs diesel trucks, they must be impossible to drive.

Different cars for different purposes. In my CTS-V, it is my daily commuter car. I drive 95 miles per day for work, mostly in Houston traffic. Figure roughly 2.5 hours a day on the roads here. Getting stuck in that traffic while driving my Z06 or Viper is not exactly what I'd consider enjoyable.

Anyone buying a GXP (or CTS-V) to take the place of their sports car or build into their "go fast" car, simply picked the wrong car to begin with.

I still prefer manual transmissions, but not in every car.

i understand the whole supply/demand thing, but i just cant pay almost as much for a used car is it would have cost brand new. unfortunately, i believe the only 'equivalent' RWD v8 car with 4 doors out there is the dodge charger... and i really dont want to be forced to buy a dodge just yet
New the car was $38k + TT&L (sticker was 41k) and I am willing to sell for $31,500 to a Texas buyer. Given the car is still under full factory warranty with low miles that is still almost a 20% hit given the original price. And the buyer of the car won't see much of a drop in value either if they take care of it like I have

True, but not everyone spends 12.5 hours a week in traffic. LoL I'd look into selling the viper and your daily and buying a chopper to cut that 2.5 hour drive into a 10 min flight.

Some people can only afford one car. In that case a manual sedan is much fun!

Nothing against an Auto, my wife drives one every time she leaves the kitchen. Its cute. ;-)

Glwts seems like a really nice car!

Then the guys bitching were wrongly assuming that this ad would only be read by people who could only afford one car? Or by people who only like manual transmissions? LOL.

If you are in the Woodlands, we are in the same area of town. Do you have a Corvette (looking at sig pic)? Pretty quick?

I don't know where this conversation took a turn for the worse but I was just expressing my surprise when I saw that it has held value better than a CTSV. But then again it is more rare than a caddy I guess and Pontiac lovers I'm sure are willing to pay good money for one.

6speed would be my personal preference but that's only because I get bored driving sometimes... in my auto

The GXP is also an 09. The asking price is far less than that of an 09 CTS-V.

Actually the Corvette I own is ridiculously slow. There is no engine in it right now. I have a built 418 Ls3 that I'm ever so slowly installing. Currently driving my 2000 WS6 with a 408 for fun. Daily is a Silverado....auto!

I'm right by the high school, cats cradle and research not far from Troy where are you at?

East side of I45, in White Oak Est.

Also, used '09+ CTSV are typically in the $50-58K range, but an occasional one pops up for mid-$40s. If they were in the 30s I'd buy a second one.
