Side Swiped (again)... GF got up early to leave for work this morning. 5 minutes after she leaves I get a call from her...
"Don't freak out..."
Mother of God.
Nothing major, but a repaint is necessary.
Here we go:
I parked the car like on Tues/Wed, and the lot was full. Not my normal parking location. Been sick all week, so no driving/moving it.
As I walked up to it...
Close-ups. Went under the lip of the bumper (near DRLs/Fogs) all the way to front plate cover.
For reference:
PS. Those arrows in the street are new. Whoever did them put ALOT of curve in it. No wonder someone freaking hit me.

Yeah, idiots I swear. I cant catch a break it seems. This summer car was broken into, then couple weeks later, damaged, and now this.
Debating on whether I should get insurance involved. Not really sure the co-pay is worth it.
Although, if the security cameras catch the SOB...

I purposely tried not to hug the line to stay as far away from the turn as possible.
Guess I cant win. Had I hugged the other side completely, I'd be making a post with pictures of someone door dinging my passenger side, or side swiping it.

Thats sucks man, sorry for your bad luck. I would strongly urgue you not to re-new your lease... Atleast we know the car that hit you is prolly Black! Look around the complex to see if you can easily spot the perp. Otherwise we'll jus see a post from ya soon...

No clue what the arrow is for. I guess to direct people which way to turn since most go straight, and thanks to the way the parking lot is set up, it creates a huge blind spot for oncoming drivers (none of this can be seen from the point of view of the pics I posted, but just saying).
I hope I find out who it is too. UPD was like "no, we dont tell you if we find out who it is. I'm like lol wtf?! I guess they think I'm going to go ape **** on them or something. Although, I'm not saying I wont, but, for insurance purposes, I better find out who the hell hit me.
Sunshade can be bought from AfterthoughtAuto (vendor). Absolutely necessary IMO for Texas ESPECIALLY, but not limited to (unfortunately), during the Summer.

Dorm parking lot. Although, wont be living on campus next semester. Going to try my luck at an apartment parking lot! Wonder how many threads I'll have next year!
Btw- I walked the lot waiting on UPD this morning. Of course, it's the weekend, no one is here. The fact that it happened late at night/early this morning kinda leads to think it's a non-student. But we'll see.
I actually park at the end of the line near that blind-spot area I referenced above. I hug the line ALOT. I realize this puts me at risk for side-swipe action (but not as bad as this stupid corner spot), but it sure protects dumb-nuts from slamming their doors into me.
