JP, funny *******....

Hear is the difference between rambling and talking smack. Rambling is repeating the same damn thing over and over, kind of like what you are doing.

Talking smack is always something new, fresh and clean. Hope everything you do for now on involves one of those.

Its all good clean fun.

I can assure you "IF" (yes I know, here we go with the if's) my old white SS was equiped with a TH350/Glide, it would have easily ran 9's in he 1/4. JP knows very well about the hydraulic issue's I was having.

My old notch, $7k total in the entire car, ran 6.70's all motor which I built it for the bottle. I could see easy 5.80-6.30's on 300 pill. Not bad for $7k.

It's all good fella's, when I pull the "home made junk" out of the garage, it will not dissapoint.

Sounds like a lot of "shoulda, woulda, coulda" and a lot of estimated times. All I see is you've been some 6.70's, which my 4600lb daily driver goes so thats not much to write home about IMHO.

So when is this bad *** car going to be ready? Hopefully shooting for mid 5's?

That's cool and all but I never understood when people brag about what they did for little money. To me it just makes it sound ghetto and half assed. I ran 6.30s all motor in a heavy GTO. But I spent a lot more than 7k doing it. But that's ok because I like the GTO for the car not because I was trying to go fast for the least amount of money.

I agree with you to a certain extent. What excatly was LS1tech.com designed for.... DIY'ers, yes, Shops, Yes, Parts, Yes, and so on...

I know the majority of users on this forum do not have the funds to pay a shop large amounts of money to go fast which is prob one of the biggest reason for this forum. Nothing wrong with paying a shop anyways. To each of their own. I am ONLY talking **** to the one's that want to **** on garage "junk", which is also no problem, all in fun.

Carry on.....

BTW, got any video's of the goat in action? Would like to see it, sounds badass.

Click the link in my sig for a video. I did all the work myself too other than having the engine built. Should go mid 9s@138+ all motor in about 3 months.

Here is some pics of a recent project I finished for a buddy of mine.

2001 S10 4.3 V6.

I swapped in a 5.3, custom harness from scratch, custom short tube headers, etc etc... 2 Weeks ago I installed a Torquer V.2 Cam and as of right now I'm installed a Yank 3200 Converter.
