Definitely a matter of opinion on this one, C6Z got my money just recently. Went back and forth for a few months. To me, the Viper is cheap and built like a truck, not a sports car. It does win out in the looks department.

Im still around, sold the vette awhile back.
Not tired of cars, just tired of cars that dont stay running.
It was very easy to sell. Too many people dont understand the problems with owning and maintaining a 1500rwhp car.
Just havent posted here much in awhile, Im still around.

No slam against LMR here. I just came to realization that keeping a car running like the one I had was beyond my level of patience. I also learned that a corvette isn't the best platform to build and keep built when trying to achieve the HP I wanted.

who cares what duy said.
RCC wanted something and he had the ***** to try it, then he realized like others has mentioned or maybe he finally realized that it wasn't what he wanted. Maybe he is like the rest of us and like to drive what we have? I know I hate it when my cars are down, I didn't buy the thing to watch it sit in the garage.

Keep that agenda to yourself.
The car was/is wicked. High HP cars break, that's just how it goes. It sucks dealing with it and the cars being down, some people just find out the hard way that it's a different kind of fun, but equal nonetheless, to just enjoy a car for what it is, myself included big time. I'm going to do it again though

lol...yeah what do I know..I been racing imports for years, but got a c5 zo6 and then c6 back in 05 to see what the LSX hype was all about..
The c5 was falling apart with around 30 k miles on it, the c6's roof fell apart, body panels started making noises..![Bang Head](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_banghead.gif)
And to make it fast, you have to buy a new block, new heads, new tranny, new rear end, custom turbo kit, etc..
No thank you!! I rather just drive a mildly modified viper or just go back to my imports where I can build an 8 second streetcar using mostly stock OEM parts!!!
Smart move RC!!!
That's why I didn't believe in all the HYPE when people started saying these LSX cars were going to run 250 mph++
Maybe it will one day, but how many motors and trannies will it take?

250 is just a tailwind day away. Of course, there is never a tailwind at the mile though.
Corvettes are excellent with mild mods, say under 800 rwhp. Then **** gets expensive and everything starts to break and require upgrades. They don't come equipped with the heavy duty drivetrains to support big power.
