That is the converter unlocking. When using HpTuners scanner bidirectional controls to lock a converter on the dyno it will only hold to a certain rpm in the 0411 computers.

It's up to your piston to valve clearance.. My stock heads I used 7.4 with my milled heads 7.35

I love the cam btw..

If your just porting the heads 7.4 ...If you mill them check the piston to valve clearance and go from there..

i am glad to hear you love it. i am hoping i will as well. i heard a .005 with .40 gasket would clear ptv and increase compression a bit. patrick g also suggested that i use 7.425 push rods for un milled heads. that it works perfect.

Yup!! That’s what I used on my un milled heads.

If you want a good idea on how my setup runs check out my Youtube videos.

90% of them are all motor passes.. I will tell you in the video if I sprayed.

http://www.youtube.com/user/SSHAWK98?feature=mhee

If it's not 100+ outside I run 7.0's when it gets above that I have to play with it.

I'm at the end with this car on what I plan to do to it.. My new build will be the turbo setup on my 2002 Firehawk with the 408.

If you have any question PM... As for Pat G he will have you taken care of with the tune...Do you plan on doing a SD tune?

Runs strong! I had seen the video of your car idle when i was waiting for cam to get here.

im not sure on the tune yet. only thing i dont like about sd is in certain weather she will run like crap.

so this cam will clear milled heads. what size gasket did u use? i dont know what do do in the head gasket and head mill situation.

I used factory gaskets.. I have a SD tune and never had a problem on weather changes.

It's all about who tunes your car.

Yes the cam will clear milled heads just need to make sure you have the correct push rods.

I think 6.35 was a typo error from SSHAWK, should have been 7.35 push rod length
